Traditional metal beds were hand crafted in wrought iron and brass but today they are mass produced in tubular steel. Although not as sturdy and durable they are a good deal more affordable and offer a practical alternative to wood bed frames. There are a few different styles available and the prices range from under £100 to over £400.
